Awesome news. I'm off on the 2nd. Really hope you have a good day out in the powder tomorrow.

Let us know what sort of coverage you get.

Cheers dude.

Does that mean I am guarnteed snow in two and a bit weeks!? In other words - once you get a good covering like this, does that mean it will stick around for a few weeks and hopefully be dumped on some more??

Or will it all melt

The only reason I ask, is apparently snow can be hit or miss this time of year...

Nah, should be fine. Snowbase builds up over the season though obviously the powder gets packed down after a few days. As far as melting goes, shouldn't be much of that at the moment, it's been COLD in Tignes of late according to my iPhone.

Val D & Tignes (Espace Killy) got a great dump of snow last night! This morning was one of those unforgettable 'Blue sky powder days', every lift just dropped you off at the next batch of powder to make fresh tracks. It's due to snow on xmas & boxing day....oh ho ho ho Happy Christmas!

If you want some recommendations of instructors/ guides PM me.

Cheers Grub.
