as always, its been a rather eclectic week of tunes! there's been a bit of Maybeshewill, a bit of Thea Gilmore, a smattering of Lykke Li and a whole lotta The Distillers...

and right now I'm listening to William Shatner singing Common People... wow!

QUOTE (cinquepunto - 25/05/2010 @ 22:56)

I know it's less than a week but I thought it was worth a mid-week update.

Pendulum's new album Immersion. Epic! Especially the collaboration with In Flames.

sh*t........ YES! Got it on release a couple weeks ago and the album is brilliant. D&B, electronica, dub-step, metal it has it all.

right then, this weekend i mostly listened to... Hobo Jones& The Junkyard Dogs (all time favourite festival band - go see them!!), Imogen Heap, Bonobo, Breakestra & Charli 2na (from Jurassic 5), Frank Turner, Thea Gilmore, Billy Bragg, Gorillaz, Toots & The Maytals, Rodrigo Y Gabriella, Thom York, Florence & The Machine, Nouvelle Vague, George Clinton & Parliament, Seize The Day, The Phenomenal Hand Clap Band, Devandra Banhart, Dizraeli & The Small Gods, The Bees, Tunng and We Are Scientists

there were probably a few more too, but it all gets a bit blurry at times!

loving that album at the moment, just gutted I'm gonna miss all their UK tour dates!

edit - continuing the Arcade Fire theme, check out the wilderness downtown.. its very processor intensive, so best viewed on a decent pc (my laptop just about coped, a bit jerky but it was still impressive!)
