Hey guys..
First of all, Hi, im new to this forum
I`ve got a question about doing frontflip with snowboard. I can do fronflip on a trampoline. But, with snowboard the frontflip is not quite the same, is it? (It`s like a side flip or something...)
How much is it different from doing a frontflip with snowboard from doing without a snowboard?

I hope you understand :D

Thanks

much easier than backflips, if you dont get all the way round you just land on the back of your board. Find a small drop to do them off, off the edge of a piste is usualy best.

I havn't progressed to doing tricks yet myself but from experience of other sports and people I know, learning into a foam pit at a local leisure or gymnastics centre is always a great place to start.
You can just go down with a mate and practise the technique of the trick you want, but with the bonus of not hurting yourself and being able to do it over and over quickly. Your mate just has to spot you, ie be a critic on your technique and style etc. Quick and painless way to get the basic of it then move it onto the slope
Your limits are made by yourself.

A frontflip on a snowboard is easier than without one I reckon.

I suck at frontflips without a board, but am getting pretty good at them with a board.

A frontflip is more like a no handed cartwheel. I can't even do a cartwheel, let alone a no handed one, but with a snowboard I can.

Your using the spring of the nose of the board. You can learn them on the flat by rolling over the nose and onto the back of your shoulders. This is how I learnt the movement first. Just be careful not to throw yourelf too hard onto your back, that hurts.

Once you've played around with feeling when the nose pops you, go and try them off a drop into powder. Drops are much easier because you don't have to spin quick. If you try them on hard snow, there's a high chance you'll snap the tail of your board.

Once you get them into pow lots of times, you'll gain a lot of confidence.

Here's a video I did with some front/back flips with a headcam on.

The jump isn't that big. I always sketch out on the landing of frontflips, which is annoying. But you'll get the idea.

Thanks all for your time
@ david_raybould: Nice video
@ RustyTheSnowman: Ty, now i know to put my hands behind knees
I was yesterday at mountain, but i did not find a good place to practise, so i wait till next week, when im going to a snowboarding camp. There are some best of our country teaching tricks, so i hope they could show me a spot, where to practise.

Thanks for all, again.
