I'm 38 in 3 weeks and have never felt younger Started boarding only last january and luckily have amounted up 8 weeks boarding with my last trip being 10 days in fernie powder heaven last month. The greatest thing for me is boarding with my 9 year old son (we learnt together on our first trip to sweden) who keeps me young and foolish as dad always has to do the stupid stuff first!!!! My wife keeps telling me I may as well get it out of my system as I will not have many years left so i'm taking full advantage of that ha ha ha |

I'm 38 and have been riding about 8yrs...........it's getting harder to get the time away with three kids but seem to be averaging about 10/12 days a year. The age and time constraints mean that I am pushing it harder and harder each year to improve before the body 'fails'.
I'm hoping for one last, long weekend before the end of the season.

Don't worry daywalker, I am 39 ... and a half! ... and went on my first ever boarding holiday at the beginning of March. Absolutely loved it and already pencilled in 2 trips for next season Once you get over those first couple of days where you spend most of the tie falling, (if you're still in one piece ) you'll be fine - it just takes the body longer to recover as you age! I found an intense month at the gym before going working on legs and core helped a lot as well as plenty of padding - impact shorts, wrist guards and knee pads. |

I read somewhere that the average age of Boarders nowadays was 37. I'm 35, I think so still younger than average! |

Woohoo, 37 is average!!! That means I'm below average ...... nope, that just doesn't sound right....
Anyway, I'm a relative youngster at 32 (but with the battered body of a 40 year old) |

27 here. Would have loved to have gotten into it earlier but funds didn't allow... Now it's nice to have a job and lots of disposable income to fund my habit. |
