I'm looking to get some new stickers for my board and just had a thought...would a bumper sticker be ok to stick on my board? Reason I ask is I figure they are most likely to last over regular stickers and also it's fairly easy and cheap to design your own. Only thing that puts me off the idea is the size of them.

BITD my dad used loads of stickers including bumper stickers to cover his board.
I have it now on my wall, it looks pretty cool but some are skuffed and scratched.
Mate have you seen the stickers on ebay, they cover the whole board!

I haven't really looked too much to be honest, I was just tidying my room out earlier ready to move and came across some sh*t stickers that I must have acquired somewhere and then thought about designing my own...but for regular stickers I think you have to order a sh*t load so that a company will make them for you. That's how I got onto the bumper sticker thing because one site I looked at specified a minimum order quantity for stickers then suggested that I look at bumper stickers as an alternative.

Some companies/shops will do per sticker orders. Place in Bury St Edmunds called 'Multi-signs' who do per sticker prices. The bigger the more expensive. You need to provide your own design in a BMP or PDF format but they will do anything you want really. Alternatively, just google the brands that you want, get their HQ addresses and write to them! That's what I did and got some good stuff back - Westbeach were the best, Special Blend the worst! Ride/K2 replied with some but were out of stock with most stickers as June/July time!
Check out the stencils as well on the Whitelines website - whole article on doing a sticker job on your board.

Ah cool, the custom bumper sticker is a good price I think... http://www.zazzle.co.uk/cr/design/pt-bumpersticker

That stencil article is a great shout...one concern though - will the spray paint not crack and/or come off? I posted about this same idea a while back and the response was mixed so I left it.

Vinyl stickers are best. www.bsmartergraphics.co.uk is a great site for vinyl stickers and he can do custom stickers.

As someone has mentioned, contact the big brands and tell them you love their stuff and if they have any free stickers. You'll be surprised with the response, as for them its simply free advertising.

I've got loads on my dryslope board and as far as I know they're all still there.

Just don't stick them to the bottom
