I came back from Bansko on Friday and I am very keen to book up a trip for next year asap!

But I don't really want to go back to bansko - don't get me wrong it was fine for a few cheap days but I am after something a little more exciting next year and I don't mind spending a littel more money!

I know you can never guarantee snow at any resort but the snow in Bansko wasn't great to be honest so some fresh powder each day would be nice!

I also have a severe egg allergy so where ever I go there needs to be enough understanding of english so I can make sure I can eat occasionally!

A good park is always appreciated!

Thanks

Yes and so can Switzerland, France and Austria.....

Wait for the deals, look at how the snow conditions are shaping up then book..... In December you could have picked up two weeks in Banff, with transfers, accom and passes incl, for the price of the flight alone..... Town was empty and the snow was amazing!

Whistler next year is a 50/50.... It could be overbooked and expensive because of the Olympic advertising or it could be underbooked and cheap because of the Olympic weather scaring people off.

If you hear the phrase "La Nina" (which will happen in the next season or two) then the PNW is where you'll want to be!!

As for the allergy.... why not draw up a mildy amusing sign that could be undertood by anyone regardless of language just in case.... If it's slightly funny, they'll almost certainly pay attention to it!! (Of course, in no way am I saying the allergy is amusing, but having managed restaurants for years in NZ, i know how serious it can be, but have also seen some of the best ways of communicating the requirements, that have led to us going well out of our way to help!)

Work three jobs over the summer, save some coin, come out and play...... you wont regret it!!

so much choice, dunno where to start...what about Chamonix in France? Great resort with loads of back country powder. Lively nightlife as well. Or Mayrhofen? Again a lively resort, and one of the best parks in Europe.

CANADA could be a great option. Banff, Fernie, Whistler, Red Mountain.

Great snow and great people...

Be sure to let us know Rogue, I didn't head to the PNW this year because of el nino and i must say my decision was vindicated. I got screwed last year in Fernie due to the same issue! 2 weeks of close to no powder! however the cycle does mean that either next year or the year after is going to be supreme (if you believe in this sort of thing - which evidently i do).
