Unlike MK, mountain snow conditions change, and isn't always slush.

The lifts are another problem. They run slow, the boards are showing through, and the queues can be massive.

... Oh lets not forget the £3-4 parking and the locker £1 rip-off.

Haven't found any of these issues at Hemel.

Another issue I've only found at Tam is that you get older generation skiers who are ignorant tw*ts that think they own the slope even though they're only on their second lesson.

But at least they're not there on ramp night

I can ride all manner of terrain but it doesn't necessarily mean I like it !

Doing early morning icey pistes is a challenge for me and has advanced my freeride ability no end.

It's just that if the domes have got the opportunity to shape slopes, then at times they could do it better.

I'm not trying to knock Tam but on occasions I have had to negotiate massive lumps of ice which is sometimes good fun to try and dodge but when its at the back of a kicker and it wasn't apparant that it there on the way up and then you land on it and crash then it does suck.

Just a little more care goes a long long way.

I've always thought that Tam is a lot more friendly than other domes.

If there is an lump of ice in the landing just move it so you dont land on it next time.
