Singles Snowboarding?
Posted 27/01/2012 @ 22:15
I'm a recenetly single man with all married up friends so i'm looking for a Snowboarding holiday on my own. Does anybody have any suggestions or recomendations of places to book a holiday for one? I dont mind a single room somewhere or a spot in a chalet.

Dude, went on my own once to Chamonix 2008. I've been going ever since. I stayed at hotel Le Vagabond, they're on the web, its a very friendly bunkhouse and relatively cheap. Just book a flight to Geneva, then a transfer with Alpybus door to door. Chamonix has the lot, from easy blues on Le Tour or Les Houches to crazy ass runs on the other parts of the valley. Also there is a free ski bus that circles the valley from the hotel.

Went here on my own in December and I can't recommend it enough. Good price with transfers and some meals included. Fly Lufthansa to Munich they give free board carriage.
I had a real blast and had someone to ride with everyday. A great crack in the evenings too. I'll be going again next season.
