Hiya,
Myself and my partner will be in Borovets from 28th January and we are looking to hook-up with boarders who know the slopes there so we can dodge the lift queues and find some new lines.
Although we've been boarding in Bulgaria for the last 3 years we've yet to hit Borovets, although we did get to see the slopes in summer whilst I was wakeboarding on Lake Iskar.
If anyone is going to be there at this time and fancies hitting the slopes for a few days, please get in touch. |

hey, me and my partner will be there end of jan beg of feb not sure what dates yet though we are booking next week,
it will be my bfs first boarding hol and my 2nd one probably cant show you the slopes but could hook up for a drink  x |

Hi. I'm going to Borovets on 28th Jan on my own. Would be cool to meet up on the slopes or for a drink. It's my 3rd year so I know it quite well. Also been to Pamporovo and Bansko but Borovets is the best. |

I'm flying from Bristol and staying at the Iglika Palace hotel which is just behind the Rila. I recommend The Happy Duck for some entertaining apres ski! |

 Awesome. Looks like we may be pulling together a sicktacular UK shred crew to drop a bomb on poor old Borovets ! Can't wait. I've been following the webcams on bulgariaski.com and the forecasts on snow-forecast.com and I'm hopeful that the conditions will even be good enough for some untracked pow to be found higher up the mountain.
Tracey and I are stoked to be able to meet up with fellow sliders, share some 'craik', beast some piste and sink a few scoops.
We are going from Manchester on the afternoon of Saturday 28th January and staying at the Moura hotel, which is just a ways down the hill from the mahooooosive Samokov and not far from the gondola.
If this is your third year in Borovets I'm sure you know it.
Tracey and I have also been a number of times to Pamps and Bansko but this is our first snowboard trip to Borovets. The runs look good if any of the youtube stuff we've looked at so far is anything to go by.
Hooking up with a fellow shredder AND a Borovets veteran will be a massive + for us, so we will deffo love to meet up with you. Thanks. |

Yea dude we are up for getting together to cruise some blues, beast some reds and even try to find some pow, if there is enough snow between now and the end of January !
Tracey [my partner> is a good, confident rider, but she is much more sedate than me, so she'd be well happy to hit up a few runs with your missus whilst she finds her shred-legs again.
I don't mind a bit of jibbing, but looking at the youtube vid's of the park in Borovets, it seems pretty serious and I'd imagine we'd get some stick from the local shredders if we mess up their kickers and rails with our dodgy shenanigins.
I'm more of a freerider myself, looking for natural hits and lips to throw off, so it would be good to ride with some others who are into this.
See my other posts for where we will be staying, but I think we know where the Flora Apartments are. They are just further up the hill past the gondola station I think?
Would deffo love to meet up with fellow shred-heads for some chat, days riding and apres after a great day out on the hill. |

Sounds good. Yeah I know where the Flora and Moura hotels are - nothing's too far from anywhere in Borovets. Hope you don't expect me to be too good. Cruising blues and reds is my thing but depending on conditions I'll give most things a try. Last year conditions weren't good and all the blacks were closed :-( I'm keeping a close check on those webcams too so let's hope it keeps on snowing :-) |
