If trading standards ate that you can't return something simply on the basis of you don't like it. What about people returning all unwanted christmas presents because they dislike them?

Not trying to be an ass and find a loop hole. Just a random thought.

If someone buys you a Xmas pressy, you have no statutory right to return it for a refund or a exchange.
Shops that offer refunds, exchanges or credit notes are doing so out of good will.

Just got back from Snow and Rock in Covent Garden and they did indeed give me a refund for my helmet without any questions asked at all. The guy just took the helmet out of the box, see that the tags were attached and said that everything is fine. Part of me expected there to be a problem due to hygiene issues with people wearing helmets but they didn't have a problem at all. I apologised for the guys there and they said that its no problem at all as these things happen.

I also took back my Burton pants and tried on the size above to see if the length was longer but even the size up didn't make a difference so the guy asked me if there were any other pants I like and I noticed that they had the Westbeach Upper Levels pants in ultramagnetic blue to match my jacket. I tried them on and although they were slightly longer than the Burton's, they were still a little bit too short. The guy recommended that I got my money back so thats what I did. Im going to order a pair of Saga Anomie pants from the U.S as they have a 36" inside leg.

I must say that the guys at Snow and Rock were fantastic (like always) at dealing with my problem and the customer service is top notch.

I bought a new helmet today and finally I'm very, very happy with what I bought. It feels so much better than the Smith Vantage AD helmet that I took back to Snow and Rock. The helmet I bought was a white Red Trace II and I love it. Feels amazing to wear and so comfortable.

One thing guys, it comes included with 2 oblong foam bits and I was wondering if there is a certain place these are meant to go on the inside of the helmet? or doesn't it matter?. Cheers.

Are they not just extra pads to make a better fit?

Yeah they are mate but was going to use them for a bit of extra cushioning basically. Was just wondering if they had a specific place they went inside the helmet or can they go wherever. Probably leave then off to be honest as I don't need them for a better fit but like I say, just for extra cushioning inside.

I'd put them on the outside. Would certainly make it "special".
