No worries fella.

Hopefully that will solve it for you. But mine still crashes after about 5mins of play... freezes with a constant screeching sound and have to restart PC to get out

Glad it's not just my version that randomly crashes for no apparent reason, then.

Just out of interest, is the ubisoft boards one of the best that you can get, or do more boards appear? I wanted to get a high spec freestyle board, but I noticed that the freeride one were one square faster. The ubisoft one looked nicer even though it cost more and had the same spec as the board below it.

I haven't been able to play for long enough without it crashing to find out!!!

I found that I got the black screen if I used the default settings. Try putting the resolution up. My PC isn't even dual core, let alone quad core. I have an 8600GT 512mb (£30 from pc world), but I was usiing a 256mb 6800gt before that.

Close all you other non essential programs like msn if you don't already do so.

Hope that helps .

I can normally play for around half an hour before it crashes to desktop.

Revision #1 (Last edited: 28/02/2009 @ 22:11)
It's been released in the US.
According to this we have another 30 days to wait at least!

Edit: This is quite a decent review.

Yeah, nice review.

Any idea if this is going to be released as a games for windows title at some point? Looks like i'll be sticking with Shaun Whites for now.

I'm not sure about a PC release, it does say XBox360 only, but how accurate those sort of things are, I have no idea

Hi there!

I've been reading the site for a bit, and decided to dip my toe in.

I am quite interested in this Stoked game your all chatting about, now I don't know a thing
about the Xbox, but which one would be the best to get, without breaking the bank? Would the basic
model be fine for graphics?

Thanks.

best bet would be to get an xbox 360 probably not the standard one but the next one up would be fine as it has a built in hard drive then, i don't know too much but the basi one i think you need to buy extra storage to save games.
