So pumped right now. I managed to get 2 tours in before my end of season de-brief meeting this morning.
The snow was just rediculous. So deep. Buddie struggled something cronic on the way down. I had to keep him on the leash to just keep him afloat, so funny!
Few piccies from today...
The view from the deck this afternoon. Those benches were cleared off 48hrs ago..
Crazy Slide triggered this afternoon by a skier on Evening Ridge, just outside of WH2O's boundary
Buddie & I touring upto Silverking Ridge
'Help mum, I am stuck in a tree well'
The descent, not quite as quick and smooth as I'd have hoped as Buddie could barly stay afloat. I had to attach him to the leash to keep him on top of the snow
Another RAD day touring! Many more to come when I move back upto the mountain for the Spring, Summer & Fall... |

KH was pretty amazing this arvo too but nothing like that!!.. Only 15cms but lots of transported on top and no-one on the hill.. Super-fluffy light champers pow up top.. poss the best snow of the season but a biting wind to deal with.. closing weekend looks pretty promising!!.. |

Apparently so!.. First it seemed to be on, but perhaps just a rumour, then off but now it's a deffo.. The mountain is in tip-top shape, though getting just a bit slushy right at base this arvo so as long as we don't get too high temps thru the week it should be another great one.. still pockets of pow to be found today and the groomers were wicked fast but not at all icy.. so it was pow turns up top, charging mid mountain then carving the sh*t out of lower mountain = perfect runs!..
However, I might be hitting up LL next w/e for the staff reunion do so I'll miss it all!.. |

Good to hear that Whitewater has twinned up with Schweitzer Mountain down in Idaho. We loved our week down there 3 years ago and its somewhere else that we will certainly return to. Whitewater Blog. |

Sure has .. putting cable in in Trail today it was -1 and frost in town after the snowfall. Local forcast is cold with rain low and snow high. Whitewater doesn't seem to have coverage yet, but haven't checked the cams/ looked up the hill properly. |
