Thanks for the updates folks.
A fine day at LL as it has snowed all day, wanted to hit the back bowls this afternoon but at the top you could not see very far so spent the day in the trees from the summit platter which was great fun.
Looks like we will hit Whitewater a week on Mon or Tues.
will be busy here tommorow but cant wait to hit Revy on Monday.

Holy sh!t the bed! 25cm's of fresh powpow when I arrived up the hill this morning. The access road was a gong show to say the least, YRB decided to only start ploughing the road at 7:45am...

We must've had 30-35cents in total when I left today and it was still puking hard!!!

Tomorrow will be another epic day!

Great stuff Dani.
It snowed all night here in LL and we had about 5-6cm of fresh snow on the car at the village this morning.....lots more on the hill.
They opened the back bowls at around 11am and we were just at the top of the summit platter when they did so and were lucky enough to get fresh tracks in knee deep fresh pow all the way down the Boomerang Bowl. A few rocks were just covered which caused a few spills for many folks.
An excellent day on great snow....one more day here then its Revy.

Have a great time in Revy! They've had about 30 cm in the last day or so and another front should arrive Tuesday.

I decided to bike today despite the 25+ cm at the Star last night. It was a hard choice but the ride was fabulous and we had the trails to ourselves - unlike the hill which would have been crowded because its Saturday and Spring Break. Just too picky I guess

54 cents in the last 48hrs, super sweet conditions. Bluebird day, nice powpow - PERFECT!

Unfortunatley I cannot go play after I put myself through a glass door last night and now have 11 stitches in my elbow... Which also means I cannot go Cat Boarding tomorrow!!

Good sport on the trails once it softened up mid morning, some tough crud to break through off piste, pretty tough going on the Paradise side powder bowls (Jumbo,Alder Gully,Bombshack trees etc etc) but some real fast cruising on Ruby Tuesday,Gambler and Southern Belle. Finished the day with some nice soft snow of the red chair down Sallys Alley. Plenty of sun soaked up on the deck with a beer at lunchtime.

Another fine days sport at Red, again it was warm and mostly sunny but the snow softened up by mid morning.
Excellent fast cruising in the Paradise bowl on Ruby Tuesday,Southern Belle and Gambler. Buffalo Ridge and Main run down to the base were best today, steep but with great spring snow conditions in the afternoon.
Rock Cut for dinner then into the hot tub.

Sunday on the hill at Red was really quiet except for the regional junior ski races that were taking place. It was overcast and mild this morning and after watching Craig in his ski lesson we headed over to the Paradise area. It was softer in the glades today and we had the whole place to ourselves. Some really good fast runs on the groomers and some fun in the trees. It brightened up later in the day and had some fun on the boardercross track (pretty straightforward and easy course).
Snow on back side of Red is starting to show bare patches and was heavy going at end of afternoon.
Went down to Trail for dinner tonight and it was 14c.
Been out in hot tub tonight and its still mild with a few spots of rain but hoping it falls as snow higher up.
A few pics from today.

Nice Stuart!

It snowed at WH2O today, not sure on the accumulation but it's p!ssing down in town right now which should mean only one thing up the hill... SNOW!

I hope there is a decent amount for tomorrow as it's Boardgirl & Rogue Skier' last day with me tomorrow

An excellent days sport at Red, base area parking lot did not even fill up and there could not have been more than 50 people on the hill today, very quiet.
Got Craig into kindercare at 8.40am and I was then onto the 3rd chair up at 9am, made my way to top of Granite and there was about 4-5cm of dry fresh snow up there. Made fresh turns all the way back to the base area where I met up with Jill and we done it all again, seeing virtually no other person from top to bottom.
Watched Craig on his ski lesson with Laurie who is excellent with the young ones before we headed up to find some more untouched snow in Paradise bowl. Had a well deserved lunch break then eventually made our way over to Red Mountain where the front face had softened up perfectly and there were hardly any tracks on it so it was great fun doing some really fast laps before calling it a day.
Some pics from today.
