Wee man was 3lb 1 oz when he was born, is now 2lb 10oz

He's doing well, but not out of the woods yet! Spend the last few day's looking after my other nephew.. glad to be home for a rest now, haha

3lb 1oz is a good weight for preme, kangaroo care and some time and he will be a fighter.
All babes drop weight in the first week or so- wouldn't you nice and warm insod then thrown out and prodded at!
I have seen it writen that early babies learn how to fight from an earlier age so are more successful in life.
My daughter's god father has two sons, the eldest was born at about 27 weeks, and was seriously ill, at school like a full termer now with no long term effects.
All I need is a ball and a wall, or a sledge board and a hill in heavy weather!

Reasons to be cheerful:

Going to collect my new Atomic Hatchet at the weekend from Portsmouth and its going to be a hot one so will spend the day at the seaside!

My mrs and I got our Canadian 1 years working visas through and we leave on the 15 August.

Short working week

I'v got lots of chocolate to eat

Just strap me on and throw me down that mountain!!!!

Started a new job which pays more so I can spend more on Snowboarding! O and I have bought a new bike, a fun summer for me!

Congrats Tim. As HJ said all babies lose 2-3oz in the first week as they don't really feed properly as they need to learn and they also need to clear all the crap from their intestines, etc. I'm sure all will be well.

There's only one wee man though.

........1) Just booked at 2 week hol to Canada in Feb '08
2) Will be baording in Blue Mountain, Ontario for 5 days

...the weather is so nice I had to put the air conditioning on in my car for the first time this year (20 degrees on the external temp gauge)!
