ok, having done a quick google the majority of UK schools seem to be on half term 15 - 19th Feb, France and Belgium are on hol for the majority of Feb, aparently Fasching week (no idea what this is) is on 15 - 19th so it's a week to avoid like the plague in France...
There are only 2 positions in snowboarding....one is looking coooool....the other is....DEAD!

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40 and zip ties

Ah whaaaaat?

I'm definitely up for this, depending on final price and dates anyway. I think if it's much over a grand then it's a bit excessive and I'll end up going on holiday somewhere cheaper lol

Yeah, but that was "FROM" so probably be the price for beginning end of season. Mid season is always more expensive...

Okay, I finally got through to If You Ski (I think I may rename them 'If You Ski, maybe better to ask somebody else about holidays').

I basically said "Give me a breakdown of prices for next February" and was met with the reponse that they will have to price all of these individually, so it would take forever. I assumed they would have every week mapped out seeing as it's all inclusive.

What James did tell me was that February is peak season so would be more expensive, but I think we all knew that. He said that mid-March and mid-Jan would be the cheapest (probably around the £699 mark as advertised). As some said that Jan is not the best, I have got him to price up a week at the end of Feb and a week mid-March based on the following.

- 7 nights
- 10 people in 5 rooms
- Flights from Gatwick
- Some sort of transfer bus instead of car hire

He said it will probably be tomorrow now before he gets back to me, so I will let you know as soon as I do. My only reservation is that end of Feb/March is a bloody long time away!

James clearly underestimates his abilities! He has got back to me already. And the results are:

27th Feb - £1050

13th March - £771

20th March - £715

He said that prices would remain at £715 to probably the 17th of April, but are likely to be cheaper early season. These are for 'standard rooms'. All are en-suite, the only difference between these and the 'upgraded' is they don't have balconies.

I asked him how bad the food was and he seemed quite put out. Must re-phrase my questioning. In my experience these 'club hotels' are funtional and not much more. But free booze definitely takes the edge off.....

What do people think? I would be happy to look at the 20th March and see if I can get a more full quote for that if there is enough interest. I figure it allows people time to get over their previous holidays and Christmas and gives us some slushy fun to look forward to (although this place had a ton of fresh in May this year apparently).

May I suggest a provisional list? Any other comments welcome. I will scope out other options to along with my little helper.
