With the snow conditions improving all the time I am just wondering if there is anyone interested in making a group of max 6 people to spend a week or long weekend exploring the areas amazing off piste. I could arrange the guides and accommadation but you would have to sort out getting here for yourselves. You would share the costs of everything so it would not be to expensive.

Post here or PM me if anyone is an advanced off piste boarder and might be interested. You can go to my facebook page if you want to see some of the things that we might do. I am always adding pics.

Already have it ear-marked, but leaving things short notice like I do meant that no one else was available this time. Like how long have I been banging on about this

So as well as Snowcrazy's request if anyone wants to be part of a drive down crew cos I was only one person short this time so I only need one or two more.

Timing wise I'm aiming to get out when there is a period of clear weather after some unsettled weather and probably after the holidays so were looking at March but if the end of Feb is unbeliievable then that could be a goer too.

My plan is do a 5 day trip around a weekend so only needing 3 days off work if you live in the south

I was aiming to stay in Bourg to be central to LA, LP & SF and for it to be cheaper. Have already been in touch with a guide too. Been wanting to do the Grand Col off piste off the back of the Aguille Rouge for over a decade and each attempt has been jinxed by weather/ conditions and someone dropping their board off the top of the mountain. Snowcrazy if you'ra already familiar with that route perhaps we wouldn't need a guide for it? As long as conditions are stable I am familiar with the Foglietta in Sainte Foy and have done it numerous times without a guide.

So I'm super gung ho if it's worth going but equally I don't want to waste the time off work and time away from the family if it's just average. Hence the desire to go at short notice and driving.

Powderpup if you want to join the group that I am setting up let me know. I will be arranging this for people that want to find good powder and use one of the guides I know. I have known Alain for many years, in fact since he first started Tip Top snowboard school. If there are enough takers he is one of those I would consider asking. But he does get booked up well in advance.

For the benefit of anyonewondering if they should join this trip, as a local out here, it is very easy for me to plan this and make it a great trip. Let me know if you are interested.

If anyone wants to see some of the places we do quite often just go to my facebook site and have a look. Please PM me or post here if YOU ARE interested in joining in this trip.

Send me a pm with your details of where you are based and your mobile number. I am in george's wine bar in Arc 1950 most days from 5 - 6.30pm if you want to meet up for a drink and a chat to plan something.

I would be up for a last minute pow centerd trip around March time, based in Oxfordshire so close to you PP. Off piste I'll ride pretty much anything, but don't have any experience using a tranciever. Fitness for hiking not an issue.

Chris, Still on the payroll for this one(conditions permitting) im almost entirely available in March although I have one day that I must be in the UK for will pm you of that. I would prefer to drive down to give greater flexablility at the other end, If there is space in my car happy to take a rider or two to. Im going to chase up a few mates to see if there still willing to participate but if they bail other GB'ers can take there places in my banger. So anyone else from GB that is up for this get intouch with me to and we can workout the transport side of things.

Check out the slopes off the back of Roche de Mio - down towards Champagny Cracking lines to be had for the more experienced rider.

You need to be real careful as this is south facing and prone to avalanches after the sun get's on it. Take a guide if you do not know where you are going.
