newsletter vs spam???

hey guys

I don't use the site very often, but receive the newsletter which usually points me back at things that i may be interested in

however today i got a mail about the new north face online stuff... on it's own, not as part of any newletter......

i can find on the profile an opt out of newsletter, but not an opt out of spam... is there a chance that can be added functionality?... if i was interested in North Face I'd sign up to their mailer
