Hi all,

i am a newbie to the forum and to the snow boarding scene. i have had 2 lessons on the dry slope,
and recently got back from a weekend at Nevis Range, Scotland - which was absolutely awsome. i am currently in a few other forums, (VW forums to be precise) as i am also hooked on camping too!

Hey Hobbsy, lots of us on here from South Wales. We meet at Tamworth occasionally too. What dry slope you learning at, Pontypool I guess. Did you hear there's some news on an indoor slope at Cardiff. I know they've been talking about it for years, but it looks like it's on the cards again. Glad to hear Scotland was good, would like to get there myself someday....
I rarely use sexual innuendo in conversation, but I do occasionally like to slip one in...

Hi Hobbsy.

Your mates bottling it sounds like a familiar story to me and is the reason that I created the facebook group in my status. There's a current holiday and Milton Keynes discussion going on.

There's also a very tongue in cheek answer to your question about Tamworth in my status

Nice V Dub by the way. Camper vans and snowboarding are a pretty good combination

Where in Gwent are you?
I've been all over the world, Ibiza, Magaluf, Blackpool etc and Tamworth was by far the best for snowsports!! It's intense man!!! You're totally gripped when you're at the top and looking down...

Another newbie here from Wales . I've been lurking for the past few months.
I'm in the Cardiff/Newport vicinity right now - I've been planning on heading to the dry slope in Fairwater for a few weeks, but lack the time/transport right now!

Wow, look at all the new locals turning up on here. Looks like the dump we had (snort) in January has got evryone out on their trays! The hill in Oakdale was awesome that week.

Chrissy mate! this calls for a gathering i'm sure.

I'm heading up to Tamworth next Saturday if anyone fancies meeting up. I can afford it now because I just sold some Wales v Ireland tickets :D.

I can't do lifts though - I'll be coming from the Somerset side .

Yeah man, I'm up for a gathering I'll put the feelers out and see who's interested. Next Sat's been mentioned by Pinky, but the rugby's also been mentioned which I don't want to miss. When're you free Ben mate?

What time're you looking at next Sat Pinky?

Hobbsy, is that the Newport Port?

Wales have no hope of Grand Slam so I've not too bothered at the moment .

I'd be looking at anytime before 6pm really. I know Jib Jam starts at 5 but I'm not very confident in my almost non-existent freestyle abilities and I'd rather not make a tit of myself .

Well, if anyone's going to be at Tam, I'm the kid with the super baggy pinkish pants and brown jacket. Oh, and a stepchild board. I'll probably be on the floor .
