having ridden a palmer 161 for the last 3 yrs i have decided a need a change....stay with me I know it sounds like a classic noob which board should i get question but it isn't.....really. I love my Palmer but I have smashed up my lead, regular, leg and it really isnt as responsive as i would like . I love speed and free riding and need to know what you guys have ridden that have taken ur breath away, so far I am tempted by a Ride Concept TMS, Burton Guru,Burton Custom( most peoples fave), Rome Anthem or Arbor A-Frame..........................Ladies and Gents your thoughts please

None of those.

Nitro Pantera/Pantera LX, NS Premier F1/Titan, Dupraz D1+, or an old Ride Timeless.

grill just out of interest - i've done about 6 weeks on the hill in the last three years. skied before (a lot).

i had a rome solution 63, top sheet delam, warantee job, replaced with an anthem 62. loved the solution, really love the anthem - livelier, poppier, more stable at speed but not so good in the powder.

my holidays consist of hooning round the resort looking for powder stashes and trees, i'll hike up to 1/2 an hour for a good fresh line too, but if i find a little slopeside feature i'll try to jump/slide /play with it.

whilst the anthem feels great on piste on the default settings (back to front binding spacing) i tend to go over the bars a bit off piste with the merest lapse of concentration. if i set back by one set of holes much nicer off piste but a definate drop in piste ability.

i was wondering if a Pantera (LX?) would give me more the feel i'm after?

out of the ones you list, which would be your preference, from the pantera, panteraLX or Never summer premier? my problem is i live in ireland, so i'm mainly mail order (and i'm a cheapskate so end of season sales rank highly in my choice ), so the dupraz might not be so available to me.

thanks grill, and apologies for the thread hijacking huwphil.
