You can now associate your GONEboarding.co.uk account with your Twitter account (if you have one). Doing so opens up some new features which you can turn on/off within your Profile Settings.
When signed in to GB, you'll notice a new 'Sign in with Twitter' button which when clicked will take you to a Twitter page, asking you to confirm whether you want to give GONEboarding access to your Twitter account (Twitter will ask you for your Twitter sign-in details if you're not already signed in). Once you approve that Twitter request, you will automatically be redirected back to your 'Edit Settings' page, where you'll be shown the Twitter account that you're linked to, and the various Twitter options will be enabled.
You'll then be able to choose which of the GB / Twitter features you want to use. These include:
Automatically tweet when...
... You update your GB status;
... You submit a photo to the gallery;
... You submit a video to the videos section;
... You post a classified ad;
... You submit a review;
... You post in the Forum.
Each automated tweet will include appropriate text (depending on which of the above scenarios you've done), along with a shortened URL to the relevant page.
You can enable/disable your various Twitter options at any time by using the 'Edit Settings' page. |

* Update: When you associate your GB account with your Twitter account, by default, your Twitter screen name will appear under your profile (as a link to your twitter page). You can choose to hide your Twitter screen name if you like, via the 'Edit Settings' page. |
