hello everybody,

I'd like some advice regarding choice of Skate banana board size.
At the moment, i ride about 60% piste, 40% off. I do very few jumps but would love to improve my buttering and general tomfoolery.
I'm wondering whether i should get a 156 or 159, wide or normal.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

H177 cm, W85 kg,S hoe 44

I've ridden a Skate Banana for years. I have a 154 and I'm 70Kg, UK size 8, 5' 8". It has worked for me, though I could have ridden a smaller size. I would not have fancied a larger size to be honest! I tend to ride all mountain.

People do say ride them small. They are not as jibby as you might think..hence smaller. Just my opinions.

I ride a 156 and i’m 5’8” size 8 boot and weigh 72kg, I love it, seems pretty damn good at most things and especially easy to ride in the fresh stuff, and fun to mess around on, I can keep up with all my mates on stiffer/trad camber boards too,

It does tend to wash out a bit when i’m Riding fast and hard but that could be poor technique on my behalf as much as the board itself. I’d like to try a stiffer board to see how much difference it makes but overall I think the skate banana is a damn fun board to ride.

Libtech have a board selector feature on their site too which might help.
