I'm going to Soldeu in Andorra next week and don't know whether to have lessons or not. I have been riding for about 2 years. I ride regularly at chill factore and have had a lot of lessons! I also did a weeks snowboard school in Switzerland last year and have not long come back from another weeks holiday (I didn't go to school this time). I've heard that in some European countries they teach different turning techniques (like using your upper body to turn - which is what they taught in Switzerland) and I'm worried that it will completely contradict what I have learnt in the UK (ie. foot pedalling, using the knee/hips to turn). The reason that I would like more tuition is because I want to improve my turning technique and learn how to use my edges more and perhaps even learn how to carve??! Anyone have any suggestions??

In reply to post #1 ...
When I learnt to snowboard in Andorra back in 2000 they used a form of foot pedallling. They usually also have a few Brits teaching so you should be fine.
