Hi all,
A few friends and I are looking at booking a holiday for the 2nd week in January. We were looking at the paradiski area but wondering which of the two resorts has the best terrain. I've heard La plagne can be quite flat in areas and |Les Arcs gets the better reviews but as ever, your opinions are the only ones I'd trust.

Cheers for getting back to me guys....and gals!

Joe.
We've gone on holiday by mistake... are you the farmer???

I've been to both and would definitely recommend Les Arcs over La Plagne, much better runs, although there's a few decent spots in La Plagne, so get the discovery pass and you can spend a day there. Check out the reviews on here for more info!

Joe,

Les Arcs is the place to be, but don't write off the riding to be had in La Plagne. I have a catered chalet in Peisey in the heart of the Paradiski region but on the Les Arcs side. From there you can choose to ride in LA or in LP via the Vanoise Express double decker lift.

Drop me a line via www.seventy3chalets.com and i'll give ya a good price.

Ta

Dave

Les Arcs with a Discovery pass giving you a day in La Plagne, definitely th way forward.

Les Arcs is far more accessible and more modern than La Plagne and in my humble opinion has the better riding.

I'd have to say Les Arcs. There is just so much more fun to be had. La Plange is still worth a look for a day or 2

Went to Les Arcs in Feb for a week. The Les Arcs area is plenty big enough for a weeks trip for you to not get bored and find loads of new riding. I feel like i want to go back because i still feel that i havent covered it all.

Haven't been over to La Plagne ive heard there is some good riding to be had so maybe the Discovery Pass as someone else mentioned would be a good call.

Hi!

I've boarded Les Arcs for the last 3 seasons and there's still a massive amount of places to explore, I often buy the Paradiski season pass, but love Les Arcs so much I normally only end up in La Plagne about 3 or 4 times!!

I've since opened a hostel here, that offers really cheap accommodation, with loads of really cool facilities www.loftbourg.com. if you do decide Les Arcs, keep us in mind!
