I'm like 14st 6ft 2" and riding a 159.

I've ridden a 162, 160 and 157 and found 160 a nice length, plenty manoeuvrable and playful hopefully 159 should give me the option of trying some park if I ever feel confident enough! Your only real way to find out is to go to a dome/dryslope and try various lengths out and see what floats your boat, though that's not ideal for the longer board sizes.

I am a tad over 6ft, and a tad undrr 14 stone, and ride a range of boards between 151 and 162, but i primarilly ride a 157.

The board is not too short for you - it is shorter than you would ideally go for, and probably wont do you any favours in powder, but it is not so short as to be unrideable - board length is a personal thing, some people love em short, some people like em long.

There is no need for you to rush out and get another board, in fact if you ride mostly indoors/dry then that is a good length for you. If you do i would suggest something in the 156-60 range.

i'm riding a forum destroyer156 twin and i'm 16 stone and i have got to say its the best board ever.you want to get a board that suits your weight because you will get the full flex of the board.a 156 wide should be ok for you

It all depends on what you want to do with it!

I'm just over 5'10" weigh 11 stone (on a bad day) and borrowed a 139 board from a friend (yes, that's right... 139)

It was wicked fun for messing around on in the domes, but I wouldn't touch a piste with it!
There are only 2 positions in snowboarding....one is looking coooool....the other is....DEAD!

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40 and zip ties

I'm a similar weight (A little lighter) and I use a 159 for park and playing around. Any smaller I think would get a bit sketchy. I reckon you'd still be able to throw a 159 around. 153 is tiny for 14st I'd say.
