It's august, I'm going surfing in France in less than a week, but I am sooooooo longing for it to snow. My 5 weeks in the alps cannot come quick enough!!!
This is just a little thread to inform everyone of my impatience!! |

Ha!
2 weeks in Jan in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, 1 week in Morzine at the end of feb and 2 weeks in Tignes in march/April. It may be 5 weeks but it still doesn't start til JANUARY! Hoping for big dumps in Scotland again like last year to tide me by.
You off anywhere nice? Booked yet? Is it too early to get excited? |

Have really started getting excited about snow this week 
Nothing booked as yet but will definitely do a couple of one weekers, can't do any more than that with work commitments  |

There was a dusting of snow at the top of Blackcomb this weekend! 3 months and 2 days until opening day! :D

I'm so lucky with my work as 2 out of the 5 weeks don't come out of my leave entitlement!!  I love my job. |

there was snow slightly lowerdown from the glacier in Le 2 Alps I noticed on the webcams....

Absolutely no idea yet!
Conveniently one of my cousins has just bought a house in North Tahoe so that might be a possibility  |

Me & my OH can't wait until the season proper so we have booked a week off work end Nov start Dec & we're going to see where it's snowing and just go |

a couple of my mates are booking a trip in december but after a couple of sketcy trips the last couple of years i'm not going anyway until jan  (probably means Dec will be awesome!)
unless someone buys our house before then in which case i'll be brushing up on my french and moving to the alps |
