It's grammar

GCSE standard must be slipping!!

Leave it, he must have spelt his name incorrectly or he would have got an A*.

Dear older generation on Goneboarding.

I wish to convey my apologies at the fact that my gcse's were stupidly easy and as a result count for nothing in your eyes. I am also sorry that the youth of today are yobbo's and failures compared to your wise selves.I also apologise for the fact I can stay on topic in a conversation without starting to diss other members of the society.
Yours sincerely, teenage delinquent number 139301.

and back to the waxing of the board - you guys really need to get a grip - we are boarders and all this aggressive banter is really not what it is about - please make friends!!!!

So the brushing to add structure - there is a lot of you tube vids out there illustrating how its done so heres one that an old wise guy is demonstrating - he doesn't use a scouring pad however when you look on datawax website they sell the structure pads - brown for coarse structure and green to finish it off. Essentially I think the message is not just to leave your board just waxed it needs some sort of brush or other to get a grain running through it.

DATAwax

I used the pads from DATAwax and the board glided with ease and speed.
Peace be the journey - cool runnings

Yes dad.

He's actually older than me so I consider myself chastised. I must not take the piss, be serious at all times and keep things on topic. Now who was it that brought up the topic of drinking Canadian pisswater?

Bud is pisswater, who the f*ck puts rice in beer?

No, Carling is pisswater, Bud is just dishwater.

Now try some "Hobgoblin" and taste some REAL beer.

This is a classic thread.....

Being an old git who lives in Canada, skis, drinks a variety of Canadian beer and knows how to wax a board (and spell), I feel greatly offended by the words of young Teadrinker

By the way this -> and this -> usually mean i'm joking!

In summary then:

1) You CAN use a scotch pad to open up the structure in your board.

2) Kokanee and Molson are ok cheep beers for the sake of having a beer, but there are far better Canadian brews out there (Try Big Rock, Fernie, Grizzly Paw, Granville Island, etc...)

3) NEVER drink bud!

Righty i'm off to get my gear ready for a weekend of freshies!

Im 17.

Aaaahhh that might be why you enjoy Bud then

Thinking about it, isn't there some law or other that prohibits underage drinking...??
I couldn't recall it either when I was 16 or 17...

----

Back to topic - I CBA to do any of the servcing myself. To me £15 is a good deal to have someone else do it

Not unless he's trying to wax his board whilst at the pub!

I was in a pub, with a meal and parents, drinking one half pint of beer under adult supervision whilst waxing

Disregarding the spelling I've alluded to above I Are the ok beers you've mentioned cheap in Canada in comparison to the rest? They're cheaper than import, obviously, but on the three occasions I've been lucky enough to visit your great country, the beer prices have been, frankly, a joke-in-poor-taste! Last week, I bought Canadian at $26.50 for 12 stubby cans ($32.50 for 18).

Harumph!

Why are they stubby, anyway? Is there a reason, or is it just a cultural, always-been-done-that-way sorta thing?

Meant to try Fernie beer, incidentally, but the pump was dry.

You can drink legally from 5 years old when you're at home in the UK, under parental supervision. So I wouldn't worry about excuses to this lot
