Well I got back from Meribel yesterday and I was lucky that is snowed quite a lot and so I got to ride some powder. I found it pretty tough to be honest. I had a lot of front flip bails with my nose digging in and I think I was leaning too much on turns. I see what you mean by speed is your friend. Although what I do know is that powder is amazing and by far the best thing to be riding.
I like to eat snow...

I was at Glencoe aout 10 days ago just after a good dump of the white stuff. It's the first time I've ridden in powder and spent a lot of time falling over but it was the best fun I've ever had on a board.
So much so that I'm determined to get to somewhere like Canada and have a go at big powder slopes!!!
I wish I'd started years ago!

I just came back from silver star Canada where i learnt where to snowboard (Great teacher Mike snowboards at MK) but my brother stays there and he was going through the trees in the powder and was telling me once you go powder you never want to go back hopefully next year i will have a go
