Tut tut, I would NEVER do that to my missus - NOT !

Take her snowboarding, then push her off the mountain.

I can't see what the big deal is for some women- boarding isn't THAT expensive as hobbies go (he says having just shelled out on new bindings, a new board and a tonne of new kit) and it usually only takes up precious 'together' time in the winter.

If your other half is intolerant then http://www.snowpages.co.uk/Date/ might be the way forward...

I'm 34 (female!) and I've been boarding 8 seasons......

I had the opposite problem for the last few years justifying yet another day away with the boys boarding / biking / climbing and I have now realised I can't change a boyfriends non-outdoor pursuit ways... so better off single for just now!

Also - seeing how all my female friends are married / having kids and denying their men folks a snowboard holiday I'm off on my own to Chamonix UCPA for fun filled week of all inclusive joy and the promise of some like minded people to have a laugh with... there are ways and means! Life is too short to regret a missed season!

Oh yeah and I just treated myself to a new Bataleon Violenza today with no one to moan about spending the food money!

Life is good

I'm lucky - the other (better) half's main hobbies match mine - racing (cars), trackdays (cars), MTB and we've both just started boarding.

Been together nearly 5 years and all good

Most of our friends are into the same hobbies too so the hobby side of things are quite social too

I don't race the cars perse - just spanner them (Although I get to drive them a fair bit ) I spanner the race cars with Shrek as part of Fauldsport and the BaTCats for Jonny

I've been working with BaT & FS on weekends for about 3 years now. All good fun

I take you're ARDS and if you do a lot of work with billies at BaT events we probably know eachother

Aren't relationships about comprimise?

Most my boyfs have all boarded but even the ones who didn't, didn't really mind (well apart from one!)

I think its nice to share some hobbies but to have some seperate ones
