But now they've all grouped together and started organising cultural trips and beach holidays and stuff when the boys have gone to even things out a bit. Seems to work.

Sounds like the WAGS at my friends hockey club. They all get together when the blokes are playing hockey and also when it's the lads night out.

Yes of course they do!! So many people have the wrong attitude towards it. Surely there should be give and take and you should have an appreciation of your other half's interests. If you weren't different people and enjoyed different things, it would make the relationship boring

Take football for example, there are women at my work who moan continuously about football season and how Saturdays are taken up by it and some week nights, I don't understand it, there is no point moaning about it! Go out and do something that you enjoy doing on a Saturday! Take up something if you don't already have hobbies, arrange to do something together at different times and work around it, if it's on TV, don't watch it!

If you want to go boarding for a week, can't she use the time to go away with some friends or something?

We could all just stay solo therefore no compromising on anything yasss

Amen to that sister! Relationships are more hassle than they're worth in my experience. Once the honeymoon period is over it's just strife.

'men are so bloody useless?' is uslually true as it's said in context of boring house hold things such as washing up

But thats only because women have smaller feet than men so they can stand nearer the sink

True about the sweeping statements against men folk, although the statement of 'men are so bloody useless?' is uslually true as it's said in context of boring house hold things such as washing up, cleaning up or doing grocery shopping...

(P.S. I wasn;t really offended at the women comments

Ok so what I think this thread has highlighted is that men can't stereotype that all women complain about spending money on cool stuff and that not all men are totally useless at boring house ork stuff.

I hope we've all learnt a useful lesson about sterotyping

exactly I'm a paddy but cant drink to save my live and I'm rubbish at fighting, so stuff stereotyping, we all do what we do to have fun, were all here for a good time not a long time, any money spent on boards etc in order to have fun is money well spent,
