do they really go together?

mine are boarding and MTB's and they seem to cause me more agro with the wenches than if i cheated (which i haven't before you ask).

e.g.

1) Darling i'm going boarding this year again (hell breaks loose)
2) Oh look my bike has fallen apart, will have to get a new one (Again, devil walks the earth)
3) i'm going to buy my first board this year (yes you guessed it)

But i'm cool with her hobbies (shopping and watching absolutely appaling TV).

Women...

Same here but "sometimes" and I mean sometimes, what they don't know wont hurt them.

see i can't do that (which also causes issues in relationships) i prefer to be up front about things. Like when she asks does this suit me, if i think it doesn't i says so. I don't get woman code!!£$£"

Are there such things!

I dream of such things but surely this is just fantasy?

I dont know, I think I read it in a book somewhere and probably thought what you're thinking now.

I find myself quoting it to the wife regularly.

WOMEN KNOW YOUR LIMITS
snowboarding's philosophy is all about having fun, so if you are not having fun try something else

They do exist I can assure you - In fact we're going MTBing this weekend, snowboarding the week after and we both had to ask each other who the hell "Jedward" was last week!

Yes of course they do!! So many people have the wrong attitude towards it. Surely there should be give and take and you should have an appreciation of your other half's interests. If you weren't different people and enjoyed different things, it would make the relationship boring

Take football for example, there are women at my work who moan continuously about football season and how Saturdays are taken up by it and some week nights, I don't understand it, there is no point moaning about it! Go out and do something that you enjoy doing on a Saturday! Take up something if you don't already have hobbies, arrange to do something together at different times and work around it, if it's on TV, don't watch it!

If you want to go boarding for a week, can't she use the time to go away with some friends or something?

Try following her round all the shops and suggesting stuff or exclaiming at prices. Then comment on every aspect of the TV - she'll soon be begging you to go out on the bike or go away for a week!

hello, my name's Caroline, I snowboard, mountain bike and horse ride.... (well gotta do something girly haven't I?)

I organised a trip to Coed Y Brenin this year for MTB fun, searched high and low and found my boyfriend his dream bike (2010 SWorks Enduro) 3 months before they went on general release, and me and my friend Christina (snowboards, MTB's, dives, kitesurfs...) have organised 2 snow holidays for 2010 because the boys couldn't organise a piss up in a ok they could, but they can't organise holidays!

Oh, I hate shopping, never do my nails, only watch 5 shows (none of them Xfactorcelebritycorrostreet) and am constantly looking at new gear trying to justify that new board/binders/bike/pants/jacket/goggles/helmet* when I have perfectly fine stuff already.

One question.... who/what the hell is Jedward??

*Delete as appropriate!
There are only 2 positions in snowboarding....one is looking coooool....the other is....DEAD!

Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40 and zip ties
