Helmet Cam.
Posted 23/11/2009 @ 11:44
Heya guys!,
I am planning a trip to go boarding in California next January.
I am about to buy a R.E.D helmet on Wednesday which i've already tried on and heard good things about (plus I like the pattern as its Grey with white/red skulls/flowers n stuff on it).
However I am now looking for a helmet cam, my brother-in-law has some great footage from his boarding holidays using one, however as I am a newb to snowboarding, I wouldn't want to be responsible for his kit.
So I am looking for a (reasonably cheap) helmet cam. I've seen a few about which are reasonably priced and average quality.
I am not looking for HD quality with surround sound, but an average resolution with smooth playback would be great.
My budget is also preferably under £100.
Do any of you have any suggestions, or experience with helmet cams.
Thanks a lot

We only do the Helmet hero. They are amazing. The HD model is £299
the standard ones are still really good. I have done loads of videos with them. They are £159 less you goneboarding discount would be £143.10.
I know its over budget but i thought i'd mention it.

That's a real nice camera. It is out of my budget but for what the camera is and the quality it looks well worth the money
