They do RED lids over here, but that's a 2008 lid so not sure whether you'll find one.

Pair them with the goggles that have a built in HUD (when they're finally released) and you're sorted

They'd better include a "skier in your blindspot warning, though" or maybe some kind of camera pointin backwards, with the image included in the HUD Not sure if i'd pay £300 for goggles and $200 for a helmet.

But hey, some people will pay £1000 for a board.

I'd post the link but my firefox keeps crashing.

think them gog's are a bit to far on the si-tec lol

yea found them for about £120 but they won't ship outside usa!!!

they can't have been that popular if they stoped manufactoring them after 2008!!

oh well just have to chance stranguling my self with the headphone cable lol

Huh... I haven't watched the link yet, I will in a bit. But the thing that I'm sure the thing that I read said they weren't out yet.

I'd like to know when someone is coming up behind me and have a small mini map so I can know which way to go in advance just by moving my eyes Sometimes you go to fast to see the signs, or the signs don't quite match the printed piste map.

Play ghost recon advanced warfighter and then you'll get into the spirit

Ok, I wasn't thinking about using them for freestyle in a park, that just seems silly. But on or off piste might have some use. How many times have you almost been knocked over by somebody coming from your blind spot at speed? It's probably just ex army technology cos they couldn't get it to work for real soldiers

I've not seen the helmet, but have seen plenty of the bluetooth upgrade kits in shops in both Canada/US.....

Smith also has the Skullcandy version: http://www.smithoptics.com/Skullcandy-Bluetooth_111_982.html?fl=true

To me though they seem too bulky and stick out of the helmet too much..... I've got the straight audio earpads and the cable isn't really too much of a hassle (Not $200 worth in any case!!)
