I take it Jan through to March is pretty similar 'snow wise', yeah?

Varies year to year unfortunately; I was out there a few years ago and it didnt snow for about 6 weeks, Feb was dyer, you could see the snow disappear each day, but then March turned out to be amazing...

Not been out to Morzine for the last couple of years, so not sure what its been like.

Your best bet, if you head out in March, is going to be to head wherever the snow is! Morzine is ace, but there are plenty of amazing places out there!

Thanks again.

The trouble I have is that I'm getting lessons from the guys at Mint so unfortunately, Ive got to stick to the Morzine area really. Im probably going to give January a go and hope that there will be snow!

Thanks for the reply mate.

I was thinking after Christmas and Jan was my first thought but wanted expert opinions from you guys on here. I think I might do what you said and go for either Jan (because the christmas/school holiday is over) or March. Being that far off before I go gives me enough time to get everything I need and plenty of time to get some lessons in Milton Keynes.

I'd always aim for Jan 'cos I like it as cheap as possible and really don't mind it being really cold, in fact, I like it!

Taking into account long term snow records Mid Jan is also statistically you best bet for good conditions.

Yeah I thought Jan would be pretty good for conditions and thats why I will go out there then. Its better that its after Christmas as well as as it as ill have a bit more money as well.

Just waiting for a reply from Mint now which I sent a couple of days ago. I hope they reply as I've heard great things about them and they are the ones that I want to use to learn boarding. Will be gutted if I don't get a response from them
