If I go to the spanner and "About Google Chrome" i have a version of 8.0.552.224

My resolution is 1024x768 on a 15.0" laptop screen. For me to get all the menu banner on the same screen (without the left/right scroll bar). The zoom is at 100%. Also at that zoom the text runs off screen in the PM...

I have to zoom out one click (83%) to get the bar right and the text appear properly but that makes the text rather small...

Yup i can reproduce this in 1024 x 768 but its not chrome causing the issue its the screen res. The same behavior exists in IE and FF.

It depends what this sites default screen resolution requirements are i suppose. Can your laptop do anything greater than 1024? You can also try pressing F11 in chrome to get full-screen mode but it didnt make much difference for me.

Alternatively the mobile version of the site fits nicely.

Hey Starnzy,

The Home title bar is displaying correctly, but the other problem of the body of the text in PMs running off the right hand edge still persists. It disappears underneath the right hand advertising banner. I'm sure that is related to the resolution too...

Thank for the changes so far! Keep up the sterling work!

Upon looking more closely, it seems to be affecting only recent PMs. A PM in my inbox from Tue 30/11/2010 @ 13:02 doesn't show signs of the problem but the first one from this year Tue 04/01/2011 @ 12:51 does. The right hand edge of the whole PM is lost under the righthand ad banner, including the "reply" button and half of the "reply to all".
