Given there are TONS of videos out there filmed on the original GoPro HERO, I can't see theres much wrong with them really. Are you really going to be pushing the limits on all of the features and battery life from the very first moment you use it? You might be burning money just to say you have the 'latest'.
GoPro improved the LCD for useability, put the 'filming' light all over the case instead of just on the front, and improved some of the filming modes, included time-lapse as a shooting mode etc..
It by no means makes your GoPro HERO 'Original' defunkt. The HERO 2 won't improve your riding one bit either

I dunno i have just read a review and basically it made the original hd hero sound pretty pants compared to the hero 2,you expect that from the go pro team but this came from another tester...........I will wait untill i get the cam and then decide from their.
And as for my riding....................always room for improvement,infact i`m going tio have a 121 lesson when i`m in valmenier,just to get rid of some habits that have crept in.
