Try to get to the indoor snowdomes at either Tamworth or Milton Keynes. You'll be able to demo some boards there and get a feel for what works best for you |

Hi, I have never ridden a Capita board but I'm a big fan of the GNU B nice, a really good board for everything, I still have one, from a couple of years ago, although I mostly use my Jones Twin Sister, only as its a bit more stable at high speed and a little more solid in powder but B nice will take you from beginner to intermediate really well. Very good hold on ice and light and playful yet forgiving, go for it. |

Hi, as above... go and try some demo boards on the indoor slopes. There is one caveat though. Because you can’t really get up any great speed indoors, there is always the temptation to err towards more freestyle type boards rather than those that will be better if you are looking for something that will go down the mountain like on train tracks. Depends what you are looking for - discuss what you want with the people in the store and get the feel for different cambers and flexible vs stiff boards. Make sure you demo with decent bindings as that makes a difference. |
