Fish Eye lense?
Posted 24/11/2009 @ 10:11
Hey there,
The new generation of handheld HDD flash card camcorders (Panasonic H90, JVC MG680 etc) are fantastic as you can simply stick it in you pocket and go riding with them and still get great footage however, you cannot change the lenses on them :-( is there anyway to get a fish eye, wide-angle lense on them?

unless the camera has the standard screw thread on the inside of the lens housing then probably not. Most proper camcorders have this thread and you can screw on different lenses. Some need an adaptor for size but all should have the same thread. Maybe possible without this if you glue one on i guess. As you've found out, filming snowboarding without a wide lens is well hard.
