2010 INDOOR SNOW PROGRESSION SERIES
The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead will again be hosting the first stop of the 'For Boarders By Boarders' summer indoor snow progression series of 2010 on Friday the 28th of May where the snowcentre will be dedicating its entire main & nursery slope to the construction of a fun, unique and flowing freestyle park.
We'll be enlisting Hemel’s “Diggers With Attitude” park crew to help shape creative, unique and challenging signature FBBB features for the event as well as smaller beginner-focused rookie park, reflecting our commitment to encouraging the progression of snowboarders of all skill levels.
Riders during and in between runs, or those who simply want to come along for the atmosphere and the great snowboarding on show, can enjoy live music and an art exhibition that FBBB will offer during the event.
- Whitelines & FBBB bring the jib jam indoors!
The Whitelines rail jam, which has been big at the board test for a couple of years, is moving inside this summer to become part of the FBBB events. A 30-minute session to get the best riders going head-to-head on the same rail, in an open jib jam format. There’ll be on-the-spot prizes for the sickest tricks, and extra goodies for riders who can throw down called tricks on demand. There’s no registering, no pre-entry and no exclusive rider list - just rock up, strap in, and get shredding!
In addition, open to everyone...'Maverix' Freestyle coaches will be offering their tuition free of charge to beginners and veterans alike. 2 x 45 minute slots. One open practice for kickers and one open practice for rails. (Two small kickers and two rail features) 12 people per session, split with two coaches. Sessions start at 7:15pm for rails, then 8:15pm for kickers. Book your places at the Maverix stand on the night. (Get there early to ensure your spot!!!)
James North (aka the infamous Northy!) staff photographer for 'The Reason' will be in attendance to get full coverage of the night and on hand to give any of you up & coming snappers some handy tips should you wish to take the opportunity to bombard him with questions. "Yes please do!" Northy says
