Electric EG1 with spare lens VS EG1S
Posted 21/02/2010 @ 12:56
Hey there,
Going to treat myself to a nice shiny new pair of goggles and i've narrowed it down to Electric or Dragon DX. Just wondering if anyone uses the EG1S (spherical) and how they find the lens in flat light conditions, you get a spare rose lens with the standard EG1 but only one lens with the EG1S....think its a bronze with light metalic finish.
Thanks

Cant rate the Electric goggles enough mate, but to be honest i think that the EG1 range are the best for the money rather than the EG1s - I can honestly say that I dont notice much of a difference in the lense (spherical) but then I am only giving you my opinion with these. But I have now been using the EEG1 goggles for the past four years - new set each year and have to say they are really good for the money and seem to fit well with any helmet I am wearing.
Give me a shout if there is a specific frame colour you are looking for. I can help sort you out.
We used to sell dragons and I would say that Electric and Dragon are much the same as each other in terms of quality, price and wear. You wont go wrong with going for either of these brands.

Can't comment on the Electric, but the dragon DX are good too - very easy to change lenses (15 second job) but....I was looking for some electric goggles to replace them

Echoing what Extreme Powder says really - I've used both Electric EG1's and GRagon DX's and I'd say they're both decent and pretty similar.

cheers guys, I've tried on both Dragon DX and EG1 but in different shops so its been difficult to compare them, from what i can remember the DX fitted slightly better and possibly had a slightly wider field of vision but on the downside I haven't seen a frame colour thats spot on. Think its probably going to be the 'Silver death Card' EG1.
