Whistler didn't import any snow for the Olympics.... they had too much! Cypress was a different story all together with Vancouver city having the warmest January on record.

Definitely not a normal season in most of the Canadian resorts, but still not a bad season either.... Big Dumps,then weeks of nothing (usually when we had a road trip planned!)... We did catch a random 7 feet of snow in 7 days in Utah in Jan . Until then things were very thin on the ground.

The El Nino appears to by leveling off in the Pacific..... A good chunk of the forecasts see La Nina forming by Sep (assuming that's your new thread!)

Turned out to be an absolutely epic season up here in Bonnie Scotland. Best of my lifetime for sure.

And I happened to be in Colorado for a 2 day dump at the start of April. For me, same again would be just perfect.
