DPD are atrocious they really are and any company that uses them as a courier service, I try my best to stay away from them. We used to deal with them at work but after some of the worst service ever, we cancelled our contract with them and went elsewhere. One of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. |

Hi,
Thanks so much for displaying the list, it's very much appreciated.
Oh where to start with DPD!!!
I started using a company to deliver food for my giant breed showdogs, the courier DPD..... Needless to say over recent months I've either had to go chasing after the delivery guy or he's probably wispered through my letter box then gone next door. I've even had such a senario where I have opened up the bedroom window above my front door and shouted down "I'll be right down", DPD guy totally ignored me, went next door and woke up my neighbours with their newborn child and actually passed me after he'd dropped the card through my front door (yep he ignored me) and I then had to go disturb my neighbour again to retrive my delivery! This has happened twice in three months now! Both times I have raced to the door but the delivery driver has buggered off. The last time he actually stayed at the door for more than 3 seconds!
So now on to another order, I've just paid £250 for a really nice winter jacket, I paid and then I got an email from the company I'd just ordered from, "your delivery will be made by DPD", my heart sank.
So today was apparently 'delivery day', anytime from 8am to 6pm. Meanwhile I am tracking my order online and it's been put on the van at 11:30am. From this time onwards up until 11pm, nothing, I then get a message to say 'Delivery was attempted at 12:00', utter utter bullshit. Whilst waiting I was decorating my daughters bedroom with the window wide open from 8am until 7pm, especially listening out for DPD. Add to that two giant breed guard dogs that can hear a mouse fart 3 miles away, no, there was no attempted delivery.
Now I've had to pay £6 to have my already paid for parcel redelivered tomorrow. To say I'm spitting blood and want some in return is an understatement! I'll be taking names and kicking a few arses tomorrow for sure!
Will update if anyone is interested. I hope it's the same delivery guy who lied yesterday, I've my articulated lorry licence, any excuse is not going to be excused! |

Just to clarify, dogs are not let out when I open the door, there are two seperate doors before they are near the front door and are always kept in there. My daughters bedroom I was decorating, is right above the front door! |

DPD are one of the best companies i have used. They give me time slots and dates of and can usually track my parcel down to the T, but then when it goes wrong, it goes wrong! I waited 45 minutes on the phone to the DPD head office depot after phoning 3 times and kept getting cut off. 20 of which were spent waiting for them to answer! When i finally got through, i was so annoyed i gave them a roasting and it took me another 25 minutes to get anywhere with them, before they gave me the address and phone number for the aberdeen depot. I then phoned them up and they couldnt recognize my tracking number, which the head office had just confirmed. Once i found it, they were then going to charge me £15.00 to re-deliver!!! Then i asked to come and pick it up from them and they said we would rather re-deliver, yeah for £15.00 i bet they would!... Anyway in the end I picked up the parcel and all was well. What a hassle. Would try and avoid in future. |
