#1 Dilemma! Won a girls board for my mrs to learn on but its a bit advanced... what to do??!! Posted 08/08/2010 @ 07:34 |

Morning peeps,
Well I won an Option Bella this weekend and thought that'll be great for my mrs, she's about to start her lessons.
Unfortunately I've checked the board out and it seems a bit advanced for her.... Its an amazing board, 7200 sintered base, light as a feather but its freeride specific, quite stiff (it says in reviews although I think its super flexy... but im a boy)
So what should I do? It'd spoil her experience if she were to learn to ride on a board that was too advanced for her but at the same time its an amazing board!! Should we keep it for the future? Can we put the binding forward so the stance isn't setback or would that mess up the sidecut angles?...
Questions questions!! HELP!! |

Keep it in the quiver, something to progress to. |

As suggested ask a local shop for a swap. Or rent gear until she can adequately try the board out then she can make the decision whether to keep it or not. |

Hi guys, thanks for the ideas - I will do exactly that, if the local guys are willing to part ex for a full setup (a pretty good deal both ways I think) then great, if not, I guess the quiver will grow!! |

Why not post on http://powderroom.net/forum (a women's boarding site) and see if you can get some feedback from people who have used the board? (I haven't) |

Hey, thanks for the link... People seem to love the Bella! If only I were a girl... It may turn out that we will keep the board for the quiver as it seems to be pretty hard to sell a 155 girls board... I'm sure my mrs will love it in time |
