QUOTE (CatLikeFelix - 02/02/2012 @ 12:44) pff, what happened to the good old days when a Burton Custom was a Burton Custom..all this new fangled Flying-V-rocker-reverse-cambered-dual-humped-chocolate-sprinkles stuff is getting way out of control If you bring the same thing out every year in a different colour, everyone realises it's just that so buys only last-year stuff, which kills margins & the market. If you make something new, for better or worse, people get excited about it and are ready to blow cash on it. |

Toying with the idea of picking up the Restricted Custom as there's some 25% off deals going about at the moment.
Graphics are superb and it even has a scratch n sniff area on the topsheet.
Beat that Imperivm! |

That's the 156 with the fruit all over it?
I need a little playful board - that might fit the bill. Not sure about the fruit though |

It's all sizes on the Restricted Custom.
Cocktails on the top sheet (which differs depending on size), then the fruit graphic on the base.
The colour of the C/pacman at each end is different depending on size too. |

OK - just checked em out on the Burton site. Yeah, nice. Diggin the cocktails
Guy in the shop said 'they' only do a 156 but guess he meant the shop not Burton
Still - the 156 would fit in nicely with the rest of my boards |

I'm just back from StGallenkirch and managed to pick up a board before I went
I picked up a 2011 custom x complete with Co2 bindings boots and bag from ebay - all in new condition.
I was a bit dubious due to the comments on here, but the kit was the right price at the right time.
First day was interesting due to very icy conditions and its certainly a less forgiving board
after a couple of days I started to experience some real good feelings on it which got better as the week progressed.
If anything, i'd say that it's made me focus more on my technique and i've had to iron out some sloppy habits.
It's like a missile compared to my old board, I'm very very pleased with it |
