Well its now less than a week till myself, fatbob,Starky and Wildebeest arrive out in Champery.
Now that the snow has arrived(or has it?) we are all set for a fine weeks riding in the PDS.
For all you people out in Morzine and Avoriaz at that time please give us a shout and we will see if we can meet up for a few hours on the slopes.
Jan14th to Jan21st.

Proclaimers glasses and blow-up guitars have been bought and "I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more" if it would snow a little more......currently raining in village, snow up top. Rain forecast tomorrow though

No chance....surely many of us dream about being "snowboarders"...as we sit strapped to our desks etc....our only consolation being, "in a parallel universe" we are board-miesters

Hi, We were in Champéry yesterday. There's some good snow high up on the Grand Conche chair but off-piste from Mosettes looked a little limited. The lower parts of all the slopes are turning to mud i'm afraid... We didn't venture over to Avoriaz as we had some learners with us but that would probably be your best bet until some fresh snow arrives. Have a good one!

Dunno if you're into tricks but the the snow-park in Les Crosets is flat at the moment too..

There's supposed to be a comp at Les Crosets on Saturday - looks like that may be cancelled then.

currently dumping in Avoriaz so Mossettes will be getting a shed-load as well... not sure if it'll make it all the way down to Champery though, fingers crossed the man upstairs will open the fridge door a bit wider soon!

Get reading those Proclaimers lyrics for your bit part Jonny!

Just read on the superpark site that the park should be up and running for the Burton AM Tour on Saturday. Folks say it's currently raining in Champery but that's only 1050 and no runs there really.

Edit: Latest update. Rain all day in the village is starting to turn to sleet. Hopefully a night of snow.

Courtesy of my folks...."Snow conditions very poor. Very little snow and what there is is very wet. Need a big dump."

Ya its pretty sucky here at the moment. It did go all white and wintery last week but all that is washed away and we are back to greenville everywhere. I've not been up since Friday, but since then it's rained quite a bit.

Hopefully will head out tomorrow in the sunshine and see what is left.

Definately up for meeting you guys when you are out here next week.

The whole rain at resort level is pretty much why I'd never considered Morzine/pds as a destination before, unfortunately at the moment all those fears are being realised. Just need it to get consistently cold but I can't see it happening this winter
