Chalet in St Anton - Recommendations?
Posted 22/07/2010 @ 20:52
Anybody got any recommendations for a chalet in St Anton? Having never been there before I have no idea about the layout of the resort or what to expect from a chalet there. We usually get a catered chalet in France somewhere so looking for something like that within walking distance to town but not right in the middle of things...
Cheers

St Anton is a long thin resort really, with accom spread throughout. The cheaper stuff in general is towards the Nasserein end of town which is only about a 10 min walk tops into town and the main places in the evening, the accom at the other end is up a hill, not too bad but after a few... Lifts at either end with free ski busses throughout the day so no worry about getting to the lifts. The main apres ski is more on the slopes or in the centre of town. Never actually stayed in a chalet in St Anton, just spent 2 seasons working as a chalet host there (going back this Winter too).

No worries, any other questions just stick them up and i'll see what I can do. I've been in to a number of chalets so might be able to give you some info on themn, even if not from an actual staying there POV!
