hi guys

The charity I work for have given me £500 from a learning at work bursary, basically they want me to learn some new skills snowboarding.

Ive been boarding since the beginning of the year in fridges and dry slopes but want to progress, ive been doing little tricks n using little kickers.

I need to find a freestyle camp for newbies or just a performance camp in Europe or evan Scotland. I need to keep the cost down for my work but I guess I'll have to put some dosh towards etc.

Does any one of any camps that meet my need!!!??

Oh yeh and I know maverix do a camp in Austria this year but is it for freestye newbies? and does any one know best way to travel? train plane etc

Any help suggestions welcome

Cheers

Who do you work for and how the heck do I get a job there!

I think the summer camps are all pretty much over at the moment though you can still book the Maverix single day courses which are meant to be pretty good.
It's not the end that I fear with each breath,
It's life that scares me to death.

Yeah how you get a job that pays you to go riding? sweet!

Ive been on a few camps different camps and definitely the best one for improving your riding was the Just Snowboard camp in morzine. Awesome coaching from instructors that are sick riders and know what theyre talking about, not pros. Infact ive been twice on their performance camp and will probably do the freestyle one this winter. Defo worth checking out.

Thanks for the reply's!!!

Its pretty cool that there letting me go, they just asked for like publicity on our company intranet, its pretty good in house PR i guess!!......

Ive been in touch with a couple of camps Method and snowboard coach both in Bansko Bulgaria and cab9 in merible France.

The all work out around the same price give or take a few quid, just wondered if any one had any experience of the camps etc.

The bulgarian camps come to around 500 flights (no stops) and camp and then around 180 return and extra lugggre charge for my board. I have to get a lift pass when I get there whcih is around 130. Oh and I pay for food beers etc.

The cab9 camp is 500 and includes full board lodgings, theres a sleeper coach for 140 im just waiting on a responce regarding if the price includes lift pass.

So any one got any ideas???
