the thing i find worst is the wind,
a few times ive went up the mountain has bee closed due to high winds

Yea the wind can be a nightmare but to be fair I was nearly blown off grand montet last year atom can happen anywhere.

Some charts are starting to show a little bit of winter in the last week of November so December boarding just might be back on the cards!

Gd luck to you if you are planning a trip from England to the cairngorms, its hard enough planning a trip going from mid Scotland. we were there 7-8 times last season and hope for the same again this season. As long as you can handle extreme conditions ul be fine!!

The best website for you to keep an eye on is Winter Highland. Updated regularly and accurate. Ski Scotland website is ok, but a bit slow in updating

Good call - winter highland's forums are also really useful to find out the real conditions once the snow gets here
