I have 2 burton s series boards with skins and crampons for sale. Together or seperately. A chance to get your hands on a very rare board. The best board for serious off piste merchants. Sensible offers please. |

They are both the 170 model. Greenish on top and orange underneath. I should get some pics on but am just about to go off surfing for 3 weeks... I'll see what I can do! Regards Ben |

Don't want to waste your time....I think they are too long for me. They look great though, good luck with selling them.

No problem, I think the shortest one they do is 165 if they still make it... I have never been worried about the length but then I do ride a 195 swallow as my regular board! |

I thought the newest one's were 162 or 168.
I'm only 5ft 7 and 180 lbs the longest boards iv'e been riding are 162/163, my 'Fish' is 162. So I thought 170 a bit too much of a reach. Perhaps not ? |

My Fish is a 160 which I used for trees etc. If that is any help. These were for long lazy walks up hidden valleys.... |

It is the Burton system, I have a few bits somewhere in the loft but would sell them with the boards.. Burton however are normally pretty good though with their stuff however old it is. If you can find a friendly dealer they may be able to get hold of some free spare parts if you give them the broken bits to send back to Burtons warranty department. I had one of the heel risers replaced when I bent it out of shape by badly locating it. I seem to remember losing a toggle from the binding release lever too and they sent me another one. Its a good idea to loctite all these which I found out too late! Good luck Ben |

oh hey buddy im looking for a new board to start out with.
would you say this is good for a beginner? i mean ive had about 15 hours so far and going away for a week in jan and i'd prefer my own gear!
im 6"4 and just under 200lbs, would this board be suitable for me you think?
also im size 11 shoes so im guessing i'd need a wide board, is it wide?
look forward to your response.

I know it's dragging an old thread back from the dead, but I'm very interested - are either of these still for sale? Thanks, Tom |
