Hi everyone how do you no when your board needs a service.Iv brought a board but i dont no if it needs a service some tips would ne ace thanks john

Maybe start with checking the edges of your board. They should be pretty smooth with minimal dings. For the base run your fingernail across it. If no wax comes off it's time for a fresh waxing job.

There is no harm in regular board servicing to keep your snowboard happy and your snowboarding even happier.

if the board you have just brought is new you should not need to wax it
but the wax on new boards are not the best

Huh? There should be minimal/no wax coming off after you've scraped the wax off so not sure how you can get more off when it needs a wax?

that's true. Just changed it to say if no wax comes off your fingernail then it's probably time for a wax...
