#1  Best Song For Crash Footage Sequence?  Posted 27/01/2012 @ 20:13
Hey all,

So every year after the boarding trip I get all the footage off my friends and put together a cool compilation video. Usual style is some piste footage, cool jumps, throw some pictures in there, accompanied to songs such as 'Fly Away - Lenny Kravitz', 'Freestyler - Bomfunk MC' and 'Helicopter - Bloc Party'.

The much more fun part comes later with the crash sequence, and I have used these songs in the past:

Bodies - Drowning Pool
Here Comes the Boom - POD
Hypest Hype - Chase and Status
Omen - Prodigy

So basically im looking for something along these lines. Doesnt necessarily have to be something ive heard of but would prefer it if it wasnt by some band that operates out of a garage in Mexico that only 6 people in the world know of!

Thanks in advance guys.

Many thanks man. Appreciate the effort!

If youre going to be good you gotta be tough would be good for a sequence, but I prefer something with a bit more urgency to it. Same as with that James track, I can see how it could work but I prefer something that gets the heart pumping.

RATM are cool but most people struggle to work out what an earth theyre saying, as its a video our parents will be seeing too id rather something thats a bit easier to follow!

On a bit of a tangent I recently saw the movie Capita- Defenders of Awesome. There is an epic track on there called 'I Keep That - Project Pat'. It goes so well with snowboarding, im psyched for next year to do more jib tricks so I can get that song in!

Good shout on muse, but I think I need something a little heavier. Considering skipknot - wait and bleed but I think thats verging on too heavy! Im indecisive at times, lol.
